What do you think of leggings on men?

My boyfriend who I have been seeing a very long time. He's a trendy bloke and likes his clothes which I like. Hes not a metro sexual type tho. Anyway recently he said to me that he'd like to buy a pair of leggings and I didnt pay much attention to it but he brought it up again.

Im not sure about this look. Id never tell him what to wear. So a few questions.

    1. General opinon from girls on men wearing leggings?
    2. Where can we buy them?

i think "no. please no. never".

certain things should be left to the imagination. i dont think a man would have much luck hiding anything in a pair of leggings.

It can look good. Think Ramones - skinny jeans and converse trainers. Thin black cotton leggings from Pennys - No. But in a heavier, more structured fabric they can look good. But he has to have skinny legs.

    No.

I frequent a few fashion forums and generally keep abreast of trends, collections etc more than most blokes and nobody, NOBODY is doing this. Skinny jeans are dying and on the way out. This will absolutely not catch on

That is just terrible. What the fu*k is it with men. Are they trying to get in touch with their feminine side? Skinny jeans were bad enough but leggings and mantyhose. They do not deserve to call themselves men.
