Pokémon Platinum Download - Shaymin

Just in case people are interested but don't know, it's currently possible to download the legendary Pokémon Shaymin from Nintendo Wi-fi. (Rotom's alternate forms and Darkrai were available a while back too). It's only available up until the 8th of November I think.

In order to enable the Mystery Gift option in Platinum, go to the TV Station in Jubilife City. Go up to the 3rd floor and talk to the male producer who is on the south side of the floor. When he asks you for feedback, tell him these words "Everyone Happy" and "Wi-Fi Connection" and then save your game.

Go back to the title screen and there should now be a "Mystery Gift" option. Assuming you have Wi-fi, select it and choose to download from Nintendo WFC. You'll receive an item called Oak's Letter.

Go back into your game and enter any Pokemart. There will be a man in green beside the counter who will hand you the letter. Now go to route 224 (via the secret path through Victory Road after defeating the Elite Four).

At the top of the route you'll find Professor Oak, talk to him and examine the stone (I don't think it matter what you input, I said SHAYMIN) and Shaymin will appear, so follow it up the long flower path. It's level 30 and heals itself a lot so can be annoying to try to weaken but I caught it with the first Dusk Ball I threw once I weakened and paralyzed it.

Once you have it you can also go to Floaroma town and a woman there will give you a key item called Gracidea. You can use this on Shaymin during the day to change it's form (though I much prefer it's original form).

If I decide to go back to Platinum, I may end up downloading it just to have it (like the Member's Card). Not going to go out of my way though.
