Is that kinda it for triathlons/runs in Munster?

Did Kenmare, Ballyheigue sprint and Castlegregory as part of a relay - I did the run.

Is that pretty much it for tris for the year around the south west?

Think there is a 10km run in Tralee in October which might give me something to train towards. Can't find a good calendar of events and the Triathlon Ireland site seems to just give me a bunch of ads about oourism and meeting single people!

There's a series of 5k races in Killarney in October and November, a 10k in Killorglin at the end of November (Jingle run) and a half marathon up and back through the Gap of Dunloe:

Excellent, live only half an hour from the Gap and do a lot of walking there, so ideal for me. Stunning route for a run. Thanks for that, didn't see it advertised anywhere.

10 mile road race in Waterford City Sunday October 18th for the Hospice in conjunction with WLRFM etc

There will also be a Half Marathon in Dec Pre Xmas out to Tramore and back

Do you know anything about new Triathlon Club in Tralee? Would love to sign up. Heard it has over 200 members in first month...can this be true or is someone having me on? It's either training on my own or with this gang!!...and I am begining to feel the cold! Would appreciate anyone getting back to me

the feetfirst run in killarney is suposed to be excellent. any word on the tri club in tralee? My buddy reliably informs me it has 150 membership - half guys, half gals.
