Anyone own one? Thinking of a 2006 model, 1.5, leather seats. Lovely car but 10k. Is it worth an extra 4k for a folding roof that I may only use one week a year? :o

Is that a known problem with them? Read Honest John and he doesn't mention it?

    Miles better IMO

agree on the mx-5 if you dont need/use the bsck seats. They're a brilliant car

Just test driven it. Very nice if a bit heavy. My own is a 1.1 and this is a 1.5 so guess you can't compare.

Next step is to get it checked out. I have no brothers and no man in my life so don't know where to go! Any suggestions? I think the AA charge €500 for a check which is a bit much :o Any reputable company or individual who would do a proper job for me at a reasonable price?

The Colt convertible is an awful looking yoke though. surely one of the reasons for buying a car like this is the looks?

Apparently not, seeing how many Peugeot CC's have been sold.

I happen to like the look! Plus It gets better reviews than the Peugeot 206/Micra convertible. Each to their own I guess!

I'd go for an MX-5 over that yoke

    Sigh...whatever. I don't want a 2 seater show off car!

Have you considered a diesel Octavia?

Well, there are better cars to drive out there and your right, the 1.5 is prob a bit small for the car but as long as you like it and you can live with it, then work away and best of luck if you decide to buy.
I'd imagine that they'd be like most Mitsu cars and be fairly reliable.

    Not a bad little car.

The 1.5 engine in this car is a great engine. Plenty of power, more than enough in fact. Its also a mercedes engine.
