    Hi Guys and Gals,
I have an aritech cs450 a few yrs now and recently the alarm wont set as the cabinate tamper fault is present. I have had the switch off and sawldered across the terminals and the fault still persists.
I installed it myself and have the engineer codes! I reset it back to factory settings but still the same.
I cant see where I can remove this command in engineering mode.
    Can someone please help.
    Kind Regards in advance

    Hi c.a.r.l,
This could be 1 of 3 things on your system.
    1. It could be the spring not sitting right in the panel.
    2. It could be the external bell tamper.
    3. It could be the the panel tamper 16/17 not looped out properly.
Hope this helps, any problems let me know..

    Hi Altor,
Thanks a million for that, you triggered something with me when you mentioned the external sounder as I did not wire the tamper on it..so I bridged a 4k7 resistor across the bell hold on and the tamper and away we go, so thanks a million.
I recently put shock sensors on all the windows and wired them in series with the reed switch, I set all the pulse's to 4 but the shock part of the sensor doesnt work, Do you know if im just not setting up the configeration correctly??
    Thanks again.
    Carl

Your welcome, always here to help..
Go into the zone menu and go into the shock menu, you need to set the gross level for the shock to work. Usually 5 but you can change it if you think it is too sensitive.
The gross is used to measure the strength of a blow to a window or door.
Let me know if you have any more problems..
