What kind of issues are you having? As first port of call & If you haven't done so already, Power down both the modem and the netgear wireless router (if you have one) then plug them back in. I have only had to do this once when I had issues a month or so ago. Funny really, when I rang UPC they were able to tell me that it had been over 60 days since my modem had been rebooted. Sure enough a quick reboot fixed it for me.

Well basically can't connect to the internet at all. They said on the phone yesterday there might be a local area issue

They have told me they can't get a technician out until Thursday but have logged a request to prioritise. It's more than likely a problem with my modem they told me on my second call. US light keeps flashing on the modem.

I don't have a router which in investigating this problem I see I should have one for free according the package I'm on - they just never supplied it.

All in all I'm a relatively new customer with them and the future of our relationship is not looking too good.

    They wreck my head :D
