Hey, Could somebody with ETKA or possibly a VW parts sales person give me the part-number for a part of the exhaust on a 2001 Passat. Its a 130Bhp manual, engine code AWX I'm looking for the cat, I have the replacement pipe, I just need the cat.

Yep, tossy is spot on. The part number in question represents a reconditioned part so you will need to return the faulty cat. The X at the end of the part number indicates a reconditioned part.

It means it's an exchange part the price is lower on the condition you exchange your old one for it.If you have no old one to hand in then the price will be higher.
