Dublin Races over Christmas

    Hi All,
    Does anyone know of any 10km or 5km race over Christmas? I'm interested in having something to aim for during the bread. My girlfriend is planning on doing the Athenry 10km on Stephen's Day and I'd like to do something similar.

    There was a 5k in the Phoenix Park on 1st January this year.

    The utmost respect to anybody who races over christmas. I couldnt even bring myself to do it. I'll be stuffing myself with food and booze during the holidays.:D

    12th December (near x mas) - Aware 10k run in Phoenix park.

    Vulcan run, Bull Wall, (Sea Scout den), not sure what time, could be 12 noon, every Stephens's Day, every year. Used to be a pretty big one on the calender, but running in sand on Stephens's day lost it's appeal!

    Ran the streets of Wicklow on Stephens day last year. It was won by Martin Fagan and Deirdre Byrne.
