Is it possible? I don't want to use Outlook or Lotus Notes...

Have a 5800 and Mozilla Thunderbird and want to sync calendar entries.

You can sync the calendar with ovi, or with gmail if thats any use to you.

I prefer something offline - bluetooth or cable. Thanks for the info though.

The best way to sync email is to use IMAP. Depending on what email service you use, you may be able to use this. As for syncing calendar entries, I use Google Sync which uses the MS Exchange protocol. It syncs between my phone and my laptop over the Internet automatically, you don't need any cable.
