waiting time

hi, I recently put in my claim after being made redundant.
Can anyone tell me how long i should be waiting to hear from them?
really starting to panic!!

hi. well i signed on on the 24th of august and i got my letter today saying i have been accepted so about a month it took for me. how long ago did u sign? it shouldnt be too long i hope, but i have heard it can take 10 weeks.

I sighed up about 3 weeks ago, and i left in my p45 the other day. the woman at the window said she was putting me on the "speed list" so hope she was BS'ing me and i hope it doesnt take too long.

i was told i would be on the speed list too so it must be true cos it took me 1 month and some people are 10 weeks so thats a good sign for you,might only be another week, but if you are really really stuck for cash go to your community welfare officer and he/she should give you a check every week untill you are approved.then what ever they give you will be taken out of your backpay, i didnt bother as i had some spare cash and now i have backpay of a grand, but ur claim sounds good i reckon 1 more week hang in there bud

waiting 6 weeks now! Still 'under review'. Sucks.

How do u check your status? just ring them is it? I've been waiting since July, getting a bit ridiculous at this stage.
