Mr. E has a fantastic "group" profile set up for the XBox forum and I'm wondering if it's possible to do something similar for the PS3. Basically there are XBox Profiles called boardsgamers and boardsgamersII set up. It is possible to do this without an XBox - just need a hotmail account and an internet connection so that you can manage the group and connect to the website. People can become friends with these profiles and then see other people who are also friends. This allows them to add others as friends, send messages or organise games.

I'm wondering are there any sites / ways to do something similar on the PS3? It's a great idea and makes finding games and friends much easier (rather than going through the PSN id thread on occasion and manually adding)!
