Hi. I've just moved to galway and i'm looking for some good places to go out. I'm a 26 year old female and i like beer, wine, a fun atmosphere and decent music. I lived here before when i was in college but galway has changed a good bit since then and so have my tastes! Suggestions welcome......

Welcome, have a look in this thread for activities.

For pubs when you're new, just anywhere in city centre. Lots have music so it depends on what music you like. Roisin and Kings Head are popular and have live music.
