How to clean a 35mm film scanner?

I have a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite F-2900, which is in need of a clean. Dust / dirt has found its way either onto the mirror or sensor. I have opened it up and had a look, but would not have the tools (or knowledge :o) to really delve in. So would anybody out there know of somebody who could do it?
