Do you use a Mac or PC, and which Nokia is it?

Sorry I use a Mac and i sync'd up an E51 first, then sync'd up the iPod. Not sure if you can do that on a PC

could use pc suite to get contacts from your phone to laptop. then use itunes to send contacts to ipod if u know where the contacts are stored on the computer. contacts from phone should be stored in addressbook when taken from phone
