I have a G36K and the rubber butt plate on the end of the skeleton stock has started falling off. I want to glue it in place, but I am a bit unsure about what glue will do the job and won't attack the plastic.

    Any suggestions?

Superglue should do it grand, just don't use too much.

    Most Super Glues will do
They are Anaerobic Adhesives, they harden on exclusion of air
so you will need to have both surfaces as smooth and as free of dirt and dust as possible,
you need to press/clamp the parts together during the curing process
