Ok, I couldn't find anywhere else to post this. I have a Kodak Easy Share digicam and it won't charge up, I don't have the receipt or anything as it was bought last Xmas.

Can anyone tell me the ballpark price I'd be looking at if I went to have it fixed? Or a recommendation of a good camera repair shop??

    Thanks :)

If you bought it in one of the big chains like Dixons etc they should have it on record. It would still be under warranty if you got it last xmas.

Nah I bought it in Boots in Liffey Valley.. Also I should add, it's definately a fault with the camera and not the charger as we had it with us on holidays and bought a new charger for it over there as we forgot to bring the original one with us and it didn't work in it either, tried the original when we got home and still nothing..

    cheers..

It's probably the battery itself. Bring it to a camera shop and ask them to try a new battery in it. A new batter will be between €40-€50 in shops.

Do they take regular AA batteries? I had a kodak Easy Share that had a rechargeable battery but it also took regular. One thing I noticed though was that the regular batteries had to be put in with the polarity opposite to the indicator on the battery compartment.
