After about 14 years of cycling I am sufferring alot from restless legs. Especially late at night or when my legs are in one position for any length of time. Do anybody here get restless legs like this? What can be done to ease them? Thanks

    See a doctor.

Sounds like something I'd get after some of my longer runs. It might be a case you're not warming down correctly. Do a search for tergat, he gives some excellent advice on warming down for running, it'll give you an idea of what is involved.

One of the audax lads swears by compression tights for this.

There ia a wide variety of causes for this condition, many of which are not cycling related. Google it for more info, but see a competent physician.

Thanks all, i think i'll give the compression tights a go and hope that they won't make my voice too high pitched when i'm wearing them!!

I get this too sometimes. It's not a lovely feeling but I never gave it much thought. Didn't really know how to describe it either.

It may be a circulatory problem and there is a chestnut based extract available in health food or herbal shops which does help

I sort of get restless legs if I have been off the bike for any length of time (a day or two does it.) It is best dealt with by going for a ride.
