Hi there Frankieb, your log seems clean to me. The process RtHDVCpl.exe is from Realtek software and is not considered adware or malware and it is considered safe. As for MOM.exe, there seems to be a lot of confusion regarding this process on the web. The upshot of it all is that this belongs to the Catalyst Control Centre for your ATI Radeon GFX card drivers, so is not harmful. I believe there was an april fool's joke regarding the process, that implicated there was a keylogger shipped with ATI's update to this driver (version 7.2). This file is considered safe and is not virus, adware, or spyware related. I hope this helps. May I ask, what is your cause for concern?

Frankieb, why are you using hijackthis anyways? Do you have a malware problem on your PC? If so, maybe post the errors you are getting etc. If you don't have a malware problem, it's always best not to do anything....in other words...if it runs good...don't fix it ;)
    Thanks,

Thanks all, wasn't really concerned about a virus as such but my computer is very slow and I though maybre that could be a reason. A lot of the time now explorer, word etc say not responding for ages. I came here to see if I could get advice and followed the sticky "before posting here do x y and z"
