Reminds me of the old days when the BBC used to show educational programs in the morning and it wasn't unusual to see both male and female frontal nudity.

Anyone old enough to remember The Spike on RTE years ago ? It was a home produced drama about a school. There was a scene in art class where a naked woman comes out from behind a screen. One viewer died of a heart attack, and the series was axed

a few years ago I was sitting with the mother in law watching telly on christmas day (around 4) The Titanic was on including the scone where Kate Winslett(?) has her Bewbs out.

Don't RTE show Titanic almost every christmas in the afternoon, completely unedited?

Their extremely lax attitude to swearing and nudity is one of the few reasons to like RTE, really.

Are you kidding me ? When I was 7 or 8 I was home sick from school and they showed a docu on birth and showed in detail a woman delivering her baby! I thought it was fascinating.

Not unusual, loads of times i've seen nudity + swearing pre watershed on RTE....it makes the channel unique in that sense.

The watershed is 9pm, but....at around 8.30 you're allowed stuff like s-h-i-t being said or other slightly less offensive stuff, i think s-h-i-t is allowed after 8pm actually....i once saw a fully naked Jonty from BB8 at 8.45pm :-)

It's actively laughed about infact, take the last lahvline (not at all) funny Friday last week, the amount of bad language in their "sketches" was atrocious and them all rolling around laughing at it, a blatant two fingers to the taxpayer again.

Goodness knows how often these "Reeling in the Years" have been on RTE. Maybe even once a year.

But 4 of them were in RTE's top 10 programmes last week.


Mrs Brown's Boys was at number 3 but let's not go there.
