ive seen a similar thread to this, but ill ask anyway. basically there is a situation coming up where im going to be forced into doing three jobs for the pay of one.the one ive only trained in. one of the other positions is something i did for a year two years ago. that came to an end when my boss and i mutualy agreed that it wasnt for me..... yet (i really dont want to do it again!). the third job is an area i have absolutly NO interest or training in. the company in question has a new owner, he says this has to happen. my direct superior is the same person for the last five years, so we get on, ive expressed my dismay to him but he says if i say it to the new owner im going to be told "if you dont like it, you know to do". i will find out tommorrow what exactly is going to happen, so this is a very educated guess what will. what if anything can i do about this? if it does come to pass.cheers for any advise guys.

    Constructive dismissal?

I'd doubt it as most likely route is that the new owner will declare everyone redundant and then create new roles with the triple responsability in it for people to apply to (people/positions most likely need to go anyway if they are combing three roles into one).

Yeah, you could be made redundant based on your role no longer being relevant. From the sounds of things your employer doesn't think it's relevant anymore.

    Crappy situation.
