Getting high ping?

    Can anyone tell me why am I getting pings of over 400 the last while? Im on eircom 3mb package but the last few weeks the pings have been averaging 350ms...:confused:

    Anyways to improve it?

    On a more serious note sounds like a overloaded exchange either locally or along your routing path

    Ring them and complain not much else you can do really

    Yeah Il ring them tomorrow. Do CRC erros have any bearing on it? Since the ping has gone bad ive noticed im getting a **** load of crc errors....

    Phone them up, say you want to raise an official complaint. Get complaint ID and then call comreg.

    Comreg will give Eircom 10 days to respond to you. The more pressure put on Eircom the better. I have been suffering for months with bad ping and hopeless connection speeds in the evenings and weekend!!!!!!!!
