I remember seeing an article a few weeks back in Life magazine I think re: Penneys new Autumn/Winter collection.

From what I can recall there was a Sequin Parka, sequin leggings, studded shoes n stuff..

Just wondering has this stuff been released already?

I'm dying to get a look at the new collection afraid I've missed it all and it's sold out by now though!

Any nice bits in Penneys atm? Galway in particular! ;)

    Thanks ladies!

Yeah was in Penneys Galway today and left with nothing which is unlike me! They have these sequin blazers in gold and silver which IMO are mank but someone may be able to pull them off! The shoe-boots all all studded ones, and they have loads of cardis/tops with lots of material etc and lots of sequins again....nice blazers in blue and purple and black but I put my money away as I need to save!!!

Thanks for the help girls, mucho appreciated!

LadyPennyworth; I gave a quick look into the Penneys in the Headford Rd. Shopping centre, but as usual was only muck there! They never have anything nice in that branch.

Hmmm... think I'll have to nip into the main branch in town tomorrow and see what's on offer, those studded shoe-boots sound interesting!

Silver/Gold sequin blazers... ah I can just picture them now! Not my cuppan of tae either methinks!

The pennys in the headford road is known as the "dump shop" to the staff as all the bad/non selling stuff goes there...its the same as Pennys in Port Laois. I seen one or two wool coats in it but the town will be walking with them.Is it just on me or have some things gotten more expensive in Pennys? I spotted a cream wool coat in it for €40 and the same coat was only €28 in Dunnes.

I think Penneys is selling stock at the same price as it always did, but now other places like Dunnes have drastically reduced prices making Penneys look more expensive. Dunnes seem to have nicer clothes at the moment too. I took a Savida dress from Dunnes out of the wardrobe the other day, tags still on €70. Savida dresses are now around €30 and no different quality wise really.

I have to say I think Penneys has gotten more expensive for stuff like jackets, I have seen tops for 15 euro and think that's mad! I also have found that often the Headford Road branch have sizes etc that you might not find in town (as in the town branch is so busy and the 8-10s and 10-12s sell out super quick..

Bit disappointed recently though with the stock, love their coats but they are ll quite expensive, like 40 euro...

Just a tip to anyone size 8-10 shopping in pennys.. check out the largest size in the kids section! Accidentally found a gorgeous white coat there the other day for 15euro, the equivalent in the adults section (exact same size just different label 8-10 instead of 33-34, and with different coloured buttons) was 40e.
Found some lovely shirts etc in there too, and im not tiny, im an average 8-10. Worth a look.

The tops in Penneys have gotten dearer lately, I was afraid to say anything in case I sounded like a cheapskate :pac:

Popped in to the Penneys on Mary St. today and definitely thought stuff had got more expensive. Some necklaces were a fiver like what happened to go aul €1.50/€2 stuff ha. Definitely think shopping in Penneys should be an olympic sport between the endurance tests in the queues for the dressing rooms/tills and the wrestling other customers for sizes and different colours. Managed to pick up a nice sleeveless green cardi and shirt though. Didn't spot any of the autumn/winter collection mentioned in mags, gonna hit the o'connell st branch tomorrow to be sure to be sure. Yes I do have a Penneys addiction ha:)
