Whats the crack? I printed out my timetable (I'm doing Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences) but theres a couple of things I don't understand. First one is one of the modules is called "Booking - Independent Learning Study" but there doesn't seem to be any room number. What is this module and how do I know what room its in?

The second thing confusing me is there is more than one row for each day. For example monday morning the top row is blank but the bottom row has courses in it. Whats the story there? I'm starting tomorrow morning but I'm not sure whether I go in at 9 or not.

    Heres the timetable

It looks to me that you're not in until 11. I'm not too sure what the independent learning study thing is, but I assume it isn't a lecture and is just a room booked somewhere for you to study. It'll probably come into use a week or two into your course.

As for the multiple rows per day, that doesn't really mean much. It just means that on some days there are multiples of the same lecture/tutorial. Classes are sometimes split up for this into smaller, easier to manager groups with different tutors/lecturers. You'll be told which one to go to.

 , my timetable suddenly looks so simple!

Anyway, as far as I know Independent Learning Study is time reccommended for you to study, it's not really a module

Thanks a lot. I'd say you can stay home for those independent learning studies. Its mad I thought the days were gonna be longer and harder than normal school but looks like I'm never in for more than 4 hours.

Look at the weeks at the bottom of the squares, if its 1-6 it means your in that lec for weeks 1 to 6 when thats finished your in the one that says 7-12 and so on.

Ah right that explains it. Nice one.

Your timetables actually quite simple, just badly laid out

The only reason for the multiple rows are that you have different lecturers for the same module for different weeks. You're in the same place, same time, but the only thing that changes is your lecturer.
