Intervarsity Conker Tournament

    I'm organizing a Intervarsity (but mainly Dublin colleges) conker tournament in UCD. I wish to invite anyone from TCD to participate. All you need is a TCD student card and a horse chestnut that meets competition regulations from a tree on TCD campus. Please respond here if you're interested in competing and I can send on the info pack.

    I'm pretty sure UCD has the most conker trees in a Dublin campus but DCU has plenty as well. Does TCD have many? I think are at least some in Dartry (which I'll allow).

    It might be free but it will probably be 2 euro. Can't have a tournament without a prize. There will be a trophy.

    Where is this being held? Neutral territory or are UCD getting the home advantage?

    I think TCD would be the best, it saves on travel for most colleges, ie not having to get two buses.

    TCD is definitely the most accessible. Definitely strong reasoning for having it there, possibly in the garden outside Physics/Zoology.
