Boxing near DCU.

    I started a thread in the DCU forum but to no avail. Just wondering if anyone can help me as I don't know the area very well. Are there any boxing clubs close to DCU that would cater for an absolute beginner looking to get involved in boxing? Would eventually like to compete, but really want to learn properly first. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey man,

    I was contacted a few months ago by a guy who was looking to set up a club in DCU itself. I gave him some advice and haven't heard anything since but hopefully he got it sorted. If he did then there will be a table for it on the clubs and socs day. The nearest club I can think of is the docklands although I'm sure there are closer ones than that.

    The one in Glasnevin would be handy if I could find out where abouts it is. Thanks for the help anyway. :)

    Its just down the hill by Na Fianna tucked in beside the river there on the right hand side if your coming from Ballymun!

    Yep,the road that glasnevin boxing club is on is called mobhi road,5-10 minutes walk from DCU.
