Tropospheric ducting query

Could somebody explain how to analyze tropospheric ducting forecasts please?

Thanks to some of the guys here, I understand that when tropospheric ducting is high, signals travel further, and therefore signals transmitted from our own transmitter (Preseli in my case) may suffer destructive interference from combining with these other other rogue signals.

I would like to be able to look at the maps provided in the link above and be able to predict, by the colours and the shapes, what the reception will be like on any given night. If anyone could give me some pointers, I'd be very much obliged.
