    Poor guys. Go all the way to Afganisatan only to be killed in a storm. :eek:

    Was going to post about that on the rebuilding thread, but wanted to wait until I saw some reference to it on the public news. In addition to the two soldiers drowned, there were a number of other injuries from the flash flood.

    The lighting, that was a French Marine, not much you could do about that one really.

    Odd thing was that the storm didn't seem as bad as the one which caused the various landslides up this way about a month ago. Typical Afghan, though, from what I can tell. Large drops, rapidly, and a crapload of lightning.
