    I don't imagine the Royal Ducal are of much value and are fairly common and relatively recent - being marked as being dishwasher friendly. The Royal Tara brand is only around since 1953 and so the tea set probably is quite recent too and consequently not of any great value - €30/40 in an auction if you're lucky! You could try selling them on gumtree.ie or Buy & Sell - but remember if you have to send them by post you won't be able to insure them with An Post.

    Thanks for your reply. I have just been told that the royal tara set was a present in 1954. Ahh well will just put them back in the attic and maybe in years to come I might get a few bob for them :D
