I remember cycling my bicycle down the middle of the road 'cause there was absolutely no traffic that day.

Me too, funny enough. Kept going down Leinster road onto Rathmines road at an unholy speed. Was brought to see 'Il Papa' at the Aras later. Despite the fact that I was 10, adults had no compunction in barging me out of the way and shoving me aside. I got to shake hands through a crowd, though I could barely see him.
