    26-10 for 6 days. flight and hotel required somewhere pretty cool for around €700. flight time of 4 hours any suggestions?

    Have you tried a travel agent or done an online search for yourself? Please don't ask boardsies to do your legwork for you...

    Have to agree with Mike, you haven't even specified anything about it. Sun holiday or city break?

    I'll attempt to be helpful here by suggesting that you check out budget travel for a Sun Holiday, Salou is still warm enough and more importantly a good bit quieter in October if you're looking for a sun holiday. Dubrovnik may also be worth looking at.

    For a city break I'm unequivocal in suggesting Berlin although it may be a touch cold in October.

    mite be dear aroudn that time though if its mid term break in schools prices go up

    Having had a good look around for a sun holiday during that week I was surprised at the lack of availability in the traditional warm locations Canaries. Balerics etc as it is the Mid Term.

    I ended up picking America for a few nights for the same price.

    You may have to look at a quieter location or wait until the last minute and see what is around. Does depend if you after sun or not.

    http://www.latourapollinaire.com/en/ and http://www.chateau-valmy.com/ are worth visiting and very cool - you might get good rates at that time of year too.
