Quick memory compatability question

Hi I am currently looking at adding some extra ram to my computer, preferably 2gb.

Will either of these ram work inside my computer if installed? http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=325699 or http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=312054

Or must I pay for the much more expensive: http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=309845

My main concern is the more modern memory products will not be recognised by my computer because it says in the data sheet that it only accepts DDR SDRAM PC2700/PC3200

The more modern DDR2 memory products won't work. DDR2 has 240 pins whereas DDR has 184 pins. The contacts wont line up properly. It could ruin both the memory and the slot.

That more expensive 2GB kit is compatible. Do you need to add 2GB though? Unless you have a 64-bit operating system, your computer won't recognise more than 3GB of RAM anyway.
