    The new King Monkey album... Think his best work was when he had Unkle around. Although some very good tunes on new album. The funk is back. Nice vibes from "The Turban", Trumpets. Good tune about The Roses. More listening required.

    no not yet, didn't even know he had one out although it's been a while since I've listened to the monkey king himself. Your post made me immediately play "dolphins were monkeys (new version)":D

    I am instantly skeptical. I absolutely love Ian Brown but the last album was dirt in every way.

    I dont think it touches 'Spheres' as his strongest album but certainly 'stelify', 'just like you' and 'always remember me' are up there with his best songs .... :D

    Still loving this record! Solarized is close to it but Stelify and Always Remember Me are the tracks of my year so far. Wish he was playing Cork ffs
