Your thread title is vague. Perhaps edit and include the word "movie."
I may have seen it, but don"t remember, sorry.

It seems to be purely on the book of Genesis according to IMDB, but by all means watch it and give us your opinion.

Soul winner, I totally disagree, its brilliant. both I and my fiancee really enjoyed it and it was good. the only dissaproval we had of the movie was that it just wasnt long enough :(:D

    God bless
    Stephen.

Thanks for the update. I will try and check it out if I can find it for rent or at the library.

I haven't seen it, but I have had bad experiences with most of the Holywood histories of the Bible. Well, most of Holywood histories in fact. I can understand omissions for time sake and additions for continuity - but we get wholesale 'improvements' on history.

A sample I recently viewed dealt with Sodom & Gomorrah. Instead of Lot and his wife and daughters escaping, thousands poured out - it was a sort of conflation of the Exodus and Sodom. Here it is: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056504/

Having said that, I remember one that seemed to capture most of the important things about Noah and the Flood.

Just checked that on the net - it is the same film you mentioned. As I recall, there were some things that bugged me, but overall it was a lot better than I had hoped:

Has your bad experience with Bible movies included the horrible "Noah's Ark" starring Jon Voight? Wow, please stay away from that. It seems to try to be accurate, but also make a mockery of the story at the same time.
