Public indecency - silly thoughts

This is a totally hypothetical situation, brought on by a silly conversation. Arranging to go collect a friend by car, one person mentioned they'd be a bit late as they weren't dressed yet. Second person (jokingly) says there's no need to get dressed as the driver won't be getting out of the car.

Presumably there are laws about being naked in public in Ireland. But if you're in your car does it count as being in public? Is your car considered private property? Would it be similar to sunbathing naked in your backgarden, even though some houses might be able to overlook your garden? If either of these are illegal, what would be the charge?

And don't worry - everyone involved is now dressed :)
