Should I talk to my GP about this, should I expect them to know anything about this area?
Are there specialised hospitals or clinics that do this?
Any advice would be great, thanks.

This is the usual site/place for travel vaccinations, though your GP will be able to get them if you give him/her enough notice.

I have to say that there is an element of racketeering to this , no matter where your going the TMB will recommend a jab , even if its just to England
    ( They recommend a Tetanus jab , fair enough I suppose , but Malaria !!! For England !!! )

The two main ones for china are Typhoid and Hepatitus A , anything more than that is overdoing it in my opinion , if you were to purchase all the stuff that the TMB recommends it would come to a few hundred Euro per person.

If your going to a tropical part of china and are considering the Malaria Vaccination , be warned , for some people this can lead to an horrific 24 hours of side effects.
