    Discovery channels new FTA Quest TV channel will launch on Freeview on 30th september according to their website

    and will also launch on Sky channel 167 on Thursday 1st october...no news as to weather it will be FTA on satellite as of yet will be a real shame if they scramble it...

    Thanks for that...Will be interesting to know if it does go FTA or not...but im guessing it wont...sadly

    I'd doubt it being FTA on satellite very much. If it were to be, I'd expect mention of Freesat platform.

    I was thinking the very same so I emailed them regardint the issue...will post any reply I mite get from them...would be a shame if it wasnt FTA ...

    i would guess if its not fta would it be apart of the knowledge pack?

    Because of it having EPG number 167, I'd expect it to be part of the Entertainment mix.

    The only channels we are missing now from freeview SD are:

    Dave
    Dave Ja vu
    Home
    Sony Movies

    With freeview hd I think they also get:

    Channel 4+1 hd
    4seven hd
    Al Jazeera news hd
    BT Showcase Hd

    I dont have freeview hd, but I think thats correct.
