Urethritis

I've been diagnosed with urethritis but have had two full STD screenings (one by Wellman clinic and a private consultant GUIDE clinic) I've been given the all clear for all STD's. Urethritis is caused by a various number of bacteria and in some cases cannot be specified like in my case. I've been told I'm showing no signs of infection but I do have a sore and tender penis and am having stinging down there even when not passing urine. I'm wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with this non-specific urethritis and how did they cope with this. I've no infection and consultants (two) confirm I cannot pass this on!! Is there anyone out there who has had a similar experience and how did they deal with this? Thanks.

Hi Baby Fences ... welcome to Boards :)

I locked the first thread you started (last night); it seemed like you were asking for specific medical advice.

For obvious reasons, the best place for you to get advice is your GP. No-one here is qualified to diagnose or treat you over the Internet.

Your current question is a fair one ... if anyone here has had a similar experience, they can share.

If the thread turns into specific medical advice ... I'll have to lock it, in line with the charter.

With most things like this the recommendation is to increase your water intake. A couple of years ago I had an iritation and I was told water and cranberry capsules as I dont like the taste of the juice.
