I'm doing music on my own outside of school and was just wondering what sort of pieces you can play for the practical? I'm playing the flute and piano. Is there a certain grade? I'm grade 3 piano (grade 4 at time of practical) and skipping to grade 3 flute. I haven't had music yet (long story) so then I can ask on Monday when I have it but just wondering what everyones playing.
    Thanks!

Talk to the music teacher in your school.

I think anything goes really but my teacher said that grade 2 and over was all she would let us do . . .

My teacher told me Grade 3/4 is Junior Cert standard (on piano anywayyy!) And Grade 5/6 or so is Leaving Cert standard! Hope this helps.
