    As per this thread on the LAN Parties forum, anybody going to this?

    There's a 5v5 CoD4 (PC) Competition (Promod - thank God!) but I don't know anybody to go with... Any decent players fancy going to this to win it?

    Seriously though, wouldn't mind saying good bye to CoD4 by winning a LAN...

    could a console player such as myself enter on their own? being used to playing with a pad i dont think it'd be fair to have a team. also, is bunny hopping allowed?

    If you have your own PC you can play with keyboard + mouse or pad. I'd go with the former tbh.

    Well Mr Plank (lol),

    It's PC only. Keyboard & mouse only. And, to finish, bunny hopping is impossible in CoD4. Jumping around is possible though! And that's perfectly legal of course...

    fair enough, i suppose it would be pointless having console players in it. men against boys etc. good luck with it anyway.

    Actually its not, got my dates mixed up :o

    Haven't played CoD4 in over a year, TF2 is where its at now :pac:

    Ah come on! Play a couple of evenings and you'll be back at the top! Then we just need to find another 3 players... :rolleyes:

    Where do you get TF2 anyway? Shops don't sell it... (Well I checked in France and they didn't sell them over there anyway!)

    Nah Steam is pretty awesome nowadays, its nothing like it was years ago.

    Granted that was pretty sweet! But I prefer slightly more realistic FPS games. All that jumping around reminds me of Quake... But I might give it a go some day. It's pretty cheap!

    Pretty sure there's a basement in a few maps. If all else fails, we can find a van :D :P :pac:

    Rules can be seen here. Tis just the initial rules and I'm sure it will be tweaked before the LAN.

    Right, Kinetic^, the_syco, I need your help finding a team! Would love doing this LAN but I'm not going if I've no team!

    Surely there are 4 decent players out there looking for a 1337 player to lead them to victory! :D:p
