So..... I'm hoping to do literature and psychology with oscail at DCU this year so got my letter saying i had a place fantastic! all i have to do now is register online but oh my god!! easier said than done.

I get to step 4 Rules and Regulations click I accept and then next there is a dot on the registration process and I get the error message "This mandatory process has yet to be completed. Please complete the . process before continuing". and I can't go on to the next step - step 5 subject selection.

I feel like crying it sooo annoying so i'll have to ring someone monday to try and get it sorted but I'm really not happy.

Has anyone else ever had any problems registering with them online?

    Breathe...

It's only a minor hiccup on a long journey. You'll be able to get it sorted on Monday.

    Nope, not just you.

I'd say over the last 3 weeks

I've been on the blower 7/8/9 times and each time no one seemed to know who i should talk to, very frustrating.

they registered me for the wrong course.

then i got "lost" in the system, so they never sent me information on registering etc.

    eventually got that.

got stuck at the same point as you.

    called back.

    got past around.

    sent numerous mails.

    Payments were "lost"

I gave up and decided to go down to DCU and kick some booty :D

I heard some of the full-time DCU students saying they got the same ... I think you actually need to click on the dot!!!

I'm sure it wasn't meant to be that way, but .... >.<

Clicking on the dot doesn't make a difference.

This is soooo bad I'm worried now this course is just really crap and all I'm going to get is worry and trouble!!! aaaahhhh!!!

But at the same time I really want to do it. I have the money for fees and everything organised I mean I could just spend it all on shoes!!!

But you can't do a course or pay for it if you're not registered and there doesn't seem to be any support.

    Thanks to everyone who replied

    I'm sorry for freaking out!!!

OP - If I were you i'd give up on Oscail and do your degree with the Open University or DBS...I don't think i've read anything positive about Oscail on here!
