Free NCT Test after 28 Days wait?

    I heard some thing that if you have to wait more that 28 days for your NCT, then you get it for free??? Is this true?

    I booked test back in July and got a date in November. Its down in Laois and I live in Dublin, but I got the car from a friend who lives done there.

    Any help much appreciated.
