My best friend used to suffer from these. We called them rage blackouts. They were ugly.

My best advice would be to not forget about them (as you probably wont be able to anyway) but to deal with your own issues. Figure out what's troubling you at the moment and try and work through it. Your rage was probably a direct result of some sort of stress you're currently dealing with.

    Good luck!

My brother used to suffer from these.

Here is the trick: DON'T FORGET IT.

Deal with it instead. In his case he eventually found that whiskey was the trigger - cut that out - for him an easy fix - well it would be except for a "best" friend who waits until he is well gone and then slides a glass across just to have some fun...

I used to get into a drunken rage every time i drank vodka. I only drink bulmers now, i may havd the odd vodka if im comfortable with the people im out with. Tip for you: dnt drink if youv had a bad week/day or if your feeling down. Iv stuck to that and havent had one in nearly 3 years. Goodluck.
