    Folks,

I'm preparing my late father's Triumph Herald Coupe (original Irish car) for sale, managed to get it running but seems that the electronic fuel pump has died.
Any ideas if this can be repaired or where I can source a replacement.

    Thanks,

    tweaf

    SU electric pump?

A sharp tap might get it going. Either that or take the end cover off and clean up the points.

Burlen Fuel Systems do a solid-state electronic replacement for the original points set up. Much more reliable.

If originality isn't important, get a 3psi Facet cube solid-state pump.

I might be interested if the money is right, can you post a few pics, i'm a Triumph fan anyway and original Irish coupes are rare enough so i'd love to see it.

Like Darren would love to see it and could be tempted. Bought a 1962 as my first car in 1964.

The herald would originally have had a mechanical fuel pump. These pumps work very well and generally dont give problems. They are available and do not cost too much. I would go back to original with a car like that. I had a herald coupe years ago, RZC 624. Post a photo or two.

    Regards,

RZC 624 restored by John Gillis then owned by Robert McConkey, last time i seen it it was in Dublin bus' yard on Coynyngham (spelling) Road. i've loads of pics of Triumphs, i'll post some when i get a chance.
