maybe i'm missing something on that page, but it seems that its only video on demand you get free. You have to buy the ppv, then you get to pick and choose certain fight (vod) for free.

I could be wrong, it happened that one other time

We should keep this thread open to post up any results etc. as we get them.

My picks Vieira, Garcia, Galvao, Lister, Monson and Drysdale in the superfight. I don't know enough about the women to comment. Of course, having me pick you is like getting a curse from an old gypsy woman.

Posted by Ruairi O Bric (pedro bessa Ireland) on EFN , hes over there watching it at the moment.

some great fights to look forward to tomo

    +99
    Werdum V Saulo ribero
Werdum has great support with him, saulo beat romulo barral in the Qf on points in a great fight

    Monson V Cyborg
really looking forward to this and it could well be the semi that gives us the winner of the bracket..

Il go for a cyborg V Werdum final...

    -98.9
    Xande ribero V Vinny Magalhaes
hell if im gonna predict that one, both won their previous fights by submisson

    Glover Teixeria V Geraldi Rinaldi
Teixeira beat dean lister in his last match on points and my money would be in him in this semi

    -87.9
    Andre Galvao V David Avellan
Andre had a hard fight against chris weildman in the Qf and looked very tired near the end of it, avellan choked tarsis humphreys in his last fight so this is sure to be one to look forward to

Braulio Estima V Rafael Lovato Jr
Cant wait for this one, braulios first fight was short, very short, and he was never in danger in his second, just couldnt get the submission id fancy him to make the final here

    possibly braulio V Galvao final.....

    -76
    Marcelo Garcia V kTaro Nakamura
Marcelo and kron had probably the fight of the day but kron lost to a guillatione, having lasted a lot longer than marcelos first opponent.

    Pablo Popovich V Gregor Gracie
Gotta fancy pablo here, gregor had two long hard fights that ended both in points wins i think

    marcelo popovich final

    -65.9
    Rani Yahya V Ruben Charles
Yahya beat jeff glover in the QF, and faces cobrinha who submitted joel tudor and hiroshi nakamura

    Leo Virea V Rafael Mendes
Rafael ended both his fights very fast, he looks class and might have to much for leo viera who had a long hard fight against ryan hall who he submitted in overtime

rafael mendes V Cobrina final could be massive

your not to far wrong about the gypsey thing, drysdale wasnt close to jacare, cant wait to see his MMA debut, he looks savage

Lister was beaten in his second fight by teixeira,

day 1 some great matches. Highlights would have to be garcia v gracie but also viera v hall, not forgetting magahales flying arm bar on pe de pano. Jacare looked on a different level and good to see saulo and xande progress. Downside of day ticket collection. If you were collecting tickets the queue took over an hour, but the window to buy with cash had no one in front of it most of the morning. That and i thought the venue and event would have big screen replay system by now, its bloody impossible to watch 3 mats at once. Roll on day 2.

Expected Lister to do better although I think everybody is wise to his game now.

Jacare has already got an established MMA career...unless you mean Drysdale is about to start fighting..which would be news to me.

that was an invitation for you to elaborate on what his game is, i would be interested on your thoughts?

Lister LOVES to pull half guard. He will pull it either from a failed shot or sometimes just straight from standin. His half guard game is extremely strong.
If Lister ends up in top position his other main tools are leglocks. He usually drops for a straight ankle lock and transitions to a heelhook variation. He catches knee bars from every were also.
Of course there is more to his game but from what I've seen from him and from the interviews I've read those are definetly not places you want to be when competing against him.

i think saying everyone is wise to his game is a little disrespectful seemed like your implying his game has only one or two sides, marcelo garcia pulls x guard, monson gets takedowns and stalls, i think 90% of all top level grapplers games are pretty obvious, i think he was beaten by a superior opponent

Not really...I'm actually a bit of a Lister fan hence why I offer an opinion at all.

Almost all the grapplers at that level can be considerd "complete" but they each have an area that is their "goto" like Bravo's rubber or half guard. Monsons NS choke. Garcia's back control. Dean lister has been around a while now and those he competes against are aware what he likes to do when given the chance. How is pointing that out disrespectful? Everyone knows what everyone else wants to do..now its just whether they can stop it and implement their own game plan..imposing your will you could say.

maybe i picked up something in your post that wasnt there, as i said seemed you were implying his game is one sided, which would be disrespectful..
