Different Trading Strategies- An Experiment

Ok this thread could very well bomb, but I was just thinking it would be interesting to try to compare the performance of shares picked under different share trading strategies. The basic idea is to pick about 10 shares for each strategy and compare their performance after every year. Once shares are picked there is to be no chopping and changing no matter what happens. The stragies I was thinking of comparing include:

    1. Grahams Value investing strategy
    2. Buffets Growth strategy
    3. Peter Lynchs strategy
    4. High dividend yield strategy

Any other strategies that people think should be included? I was going to include a momentum strategy but I think this is more a short term strategy and would be too difficult to keep track off.

Also can anyone suggest shares that best fit each category currently? I know literally nothing about shares so any help in choosing appropriate shares for each category would be appreciated.

It would take you at least 5 to 10 years to compare strategies.

Anyway Buffet is well known for his undervalued stock investment strategy not the growth strategy.

Buffet would say value and growth are of course both important, but many believe in his later years Buffet has put more of an emphasis on growth rather than value which was the strategy he began investing with.
