    Hi lads,

when i start my car which is a 1.4 daewoo lanos, it starts vibrating ...the noise appears to be coming from around the engine...but once i have been driving for 10 mins or so it stops....then when car is left idle for a few more hours and i go to start it it does the vibrating thing again....

    Plugs leads?

Not a coil cos i tried this :)

    Any help appreciated

Is it misfiring? Are you down on power?

To me it sounds like you're just getting resonance at high idle (Until engine temp heats up ie after a few minutes from cold start). In a tired car, things like trim/dash etc. tend to resonate at certain frequencies that come at different parts of the rev range. Could be normal.

When it starts from cold, do you notice if the rev's are higher than
    1000 and eratic at all.
If so a sensor could be at fault.

Jebus, I had one of those. Started doing what it wanted, missing, high idle, not starting. Got it fixed twice. I got rid of it, suggest you do the same.
