hi, i've a business in mind that's bascily take out food...

i've a place that i'd like to rent, but it's not zoned for food.

i got on to the people in charge of zoning, and they said they wont give planning for take out food... but are ok with it being a cafe....

seeing as i can buy food in a cafe and take it away with me... can i just get planning for a cafe, put a few seats in, and, if people want to take the food away, that's up to them....

basicly what i'm saying is, can the planning authority come in after the fact and shut me down?

there was another place i was looking at in the same area, the estate agent said the place was let, but he managed to get planning off the same crowd, for take out food... after jumping through a few hoops....

know nothing about this,hmm...wouldnt you need just a minimum of seats to be a cafe?

so once you have the seats your a cafe but people can of course take their stuff home once theyve paid for it?
