    Confirmed dates on their website.
Nothing mentioned about Ireland yet but hopefully it will be added.

There are more dates to be added.
Having been to 6 shows this year(Dublin x3, Barcelona,London and Chicago) can't wait for next year!

I hope its not in croke park again. The whole starting at 9pm when its still bright totally killed the Dublin shows and thats not to mention getting 270 degrees of a 360 degrees tour!!!!

Also i hope they will play alot more of the older more stuff like I Will follow,Gloria and even some Zooropa era.

On a complete side note, dunno if you heard but the band have been playing Your Blue Room from the passengers album for the first time live and they have also been dropping Pride from the setlist.

Yeah, I was at the Chicago show when premiered Your Blue Room - a complete show stopper (not in the good way) as very few people knew it, most people headed for the head or for beer. I enjoyed it though.

Have to agree as well about starting the concert in the dark, it made a big difference to the show, as you appreciate the stage and lightening that bit more.

No other large venue in Ireland though to accommodate such a show, unless the Lansdowne Road is completed and ready to go. It would be good to have them "christen" the new stadium.

Agree with ye about Croker. Later start with full 360 would be better.
Hopefully Lansdowne will be ready on time. According to the website it's due to open in April. Would the same reasons for starting early apply there as well though?

Its looking unlikely that there will be any gigs in Dublin next year.
Due to the logistics of the show they would have to play at least 2 gigs in Dublin to justify the transport costs .

Why do they always have to play Croke Park when they come over here? I will never go to a gig that is in Croke Park. It just screams that the artist wants to do as little shows as possible to make the most money. Why can't they play normal venues like the O2, etc? I know they are smaller but at least then you'd be able to actually see and hear the band properly.

U2 have to play stadiums because the stage for this tour is obviously too big to fit indoors. Yes a gig in the O2 would be great but then you would miss out on the spectacle that such an amazing stage creates.
Also, 1000's of fans would be disappointed because the demand would far outweigh the amount of tickets available. They would have to play the O2 every night for a week to fit the crowd in from one night in Croke Park.

Yeah I heard that they will be back to croke park next summer and maybe even glastonbury

If its next summer they should just play Landsdowne, then we'd get the full 360 experience.

There were rumours of Landsdown but a fan asked Paul McGuinness and he said they would not be playing Ireland for a few years. I hope this is not true. If they are going to do a second leg, it makes no sence not to include Ireland. The Croker gigs were their most profitable of the whole tour, making them over €20m, so logically it makes no sence. They could sell out 4 or 5 nights out at the 50,000 Landsdown with ease. Ok they prob dont want to do that many, but even 2 gigs would make sence. We deserve to see it in 360 like the rest of the world, and U2 are the obvious choice to open Landsdown.

DON'T get me wrong, I'm a huge fan BUT I will be suprised if they come back next year

I mean for a band from this city, since The Boy album, they have only really played sporadic gigs in their own hometown, In comparison to The amount of times they have played the states, Australia and other European cities,

I think after All That You Can't Leave Behind, It definitely stopped being about the music, Just listen to their lyrics since then, With the exception of several songs, It's more about the U2 & Paul Mc Guinness money making corporation these days...

I was at the Saturday night gig this year and it was a great show, U2 really know how to drive a live show.

I hope they came back to Dublin next year, but please not to Croke Park. I`m very proud of Croke Park but just wish it was a complete stadium. I know the history of the Hill but the stadium looks half finished with the Hill.

I`m a huge Liverpool and they managed to make the Kop all seating and again the Kop had massive history During the u2 gig, you had to look at the hill and my god it is one ugly site when empty. Plus the gig started too early and finishing at 11 was nonsense as well. The show needs to start when it is dark to fully appreciate the stage and lighting.

If U2 come back I hope it is to the Aviva Stadium where we will get a proper 360 gig from the band.

I also think the band need to release a new album before the 2010 tour,as much as NLOTH has some decent tunes, I think the only song I would really want to hear again live would be Moment of Surrender.

In 92/93 they were touring there truly last great album Acthung Baby plus Zoopora which had some great songs. NLOTH doesn`t have that strength and not sure if I want to pay money to hear 6 or 7 songs again from that Album.

U2 are a great live band very few artists can touch them live, and I don`t want them turning in the Stones yet and just playing greatest hits but they have to make that if they are going to play so many new songs on a tour the songs need to strong.

When U2 tour in 2014 or whenever as part of the Live Nation deal, how many songs from NLOTH would be played?

How many songs would they play?

Tough to say given the new album is due out in the next few months; the only time they've really done a tour based on two albums is, as you said, ZooTV. For the latter few legs 9 of the Actung Baby songs featured heavily. Then again you're talking about songs like One, Mysterious Ways, The Fly, Even Better Than The Real Thing while 5 songs regularly featured for Zooropa.

Now's a different matter though as they will have essentially doubled their number of songs since Actung Baby, and songs like Elevation, Beautiful Day, Vertigo, Walk On etc are going to be in the same 23 song setlist.

Anyway rumours are coming through that the guys are going to finish their 2010 European leg with a trip to Dublin, most likely venue is the newly done-up Lansdowne Road stadium
