I've always had a cart bag and trolley but i'm toying with the idea of getting a stand bag for carrying during the winter months.

Carry bag - no taking the long way around for me:D

Also handy for getting around wet / muddy patches.

carry bag in winter or for a few holes of an evening.....speedy & shorter walks in winter...often carry 8-9 clubs, and gets left in car most of summer

powakaddy most summer weekends or if I'm well organised in summer for 18

I always carry. I have tried a pull trolley but I always ended up with a sore back due to the way it twisted my back.

I have an electric trolley which I sometimes use.

Pull trolley almost always. Kitchen sink in the bag. Don't like electric trolleys. Sometimes carry in the summer evenings but not for the last few years because I wouldn't leave the full wet gear out of the bag in this country...

I always carry as well. There's more to carry, but less walking overall.

Ive always carried since I started playing but i feel lately that the bag feels heavier and heavier and by the end of the round im shattered. I carry 13 clubs, proquip prolite gear and I feel that the weight hinders my end of round scores and performance because im physically tired. For me its time to invest in a trolley and face the fact im not a fit young man any more. I do however love the carry bag, walking across greens, bringing the clubs into the rough and generally having all the options with me at the ball instead of having to hit a club I don’t want to because the bag is in the fairway and there is a group waiting on you to make a recovery with a 9 iron when I should be hitting a 60 degree!

Ditto, I bailed about 2 years ago (@ 29) when it turns out I had enough credit in the pros shop to buy one. Best investment ever. I have *everything* in this bag. (Get a big bag if you get a trolley!) Sunscreen, flyspray, shorts, wetgear, jumper, windcheater, long sleeve tshirt, food, drinks, gloves, fricken everything!

If Im playing 12 on a nice crisp winters day I mihgt carry, but only if I know its going to be dry, even then the lure of the big bag with extra goodies is too much for me most of the time.
Its definitely saved me 2-3 shots per round.

    Electric POWAKADDY for me.
Save the energy and pack all in!

On one of the rare summer days that we get I carry the bag. Nothing in it except the necessary kit.
More often, though, it's a powakaddy with the bag fully loaded with kit for all eventualities...similar to GreeBo's post above.

Electric trolley all the time.Used to carry it years ago but ended up with a bad back.

Carry 6-7 clubs for a quick 9 on an evening during the summer... Otherwise I'd pull a trolly for an 18 hole competition or a 36 hole scratch cup at the weekend.

At the moment a caddy is mandatory where I am so I've no choice.

Electric trolley every time, carrying or pulling just isn't good for the back.
