    Heya,
i was just wondering whats the latest options for escrima in dublin?
From what i have seen there is warriors, wild geese and llanera.... but warriors and llanera only train once a week, so basically if someone is looking for regular training then wild geese is the only option these days?

Please correct me if im wrong, thats just the info i got from looking at their sites.

    Anyone here in the know?

Warriors usually train twice a week but the second day is invite only because it can be cancelled at short notice plus its just training/sparring and not a class. Some talk of running a Thursday class again dunno if it's gonna happen. The lads in Wild Geese would deffo have the most classes going on

There's also a lameco class in dublin, don't know the venue. Silat Liam on here runs it.

I trained with Warriors for a while until I moved from Dublin . I really enjoyed the training , the atmosphere in the club and the instructors .

    I would recomend it .

    Hi,

Im an instructor with the Wing Tsun and have attended a few Newman Escrima classes over the years, unfortunately I just don't have the time to commit to Escrima at the minute but its something that I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in weapons training.

    Hi,

I know this is a little off topic but I would just like to congratulate Spiderdan on obtaining his Primary (Blackbelt) Level in Wing Tsun last weekend. He has been training for a long time now and has worked hard. Well done! Sorry for embarressing you. :D

On another note, I studied Newman-Escrima for three years and while I eventually gave it up to concentrate on Wing Tsun I feel that what I learned will always stand to me.

    Regards,

    Michael
